In Brazil we call it a colinha — the little folded cheat-sheet you keep in your back pocket and pull out when you need it. This site is mine.

I play guitar and bass in a handful of bands — one or two original, a few covers, depends on the timeframe. Over the years I've cleaned up a lot of tabs: taken transcriptions the community made, reworked them in Guitar Pro, fixed what my ears disagreed with, and reformatted everything so it actually reads well on an iPad at practice and on stage. No microscopic systems, no seventeen-page exports, no ads over the intro riff.

At some point the folder got good enough that keeping it to myself felt silly. So here it is.

What you should know

Most of these aren't my transcriptions. Roughly 99% started life on Songsterr, Ultimate Guitar, or similar — transcribed by people far more patient and talented than me. What I add is cleanup: readable layout, corrected bits, consistent formatting for tablet reading. Every tab says where it came from, when possible.

Every tab is the complete song. Intro to outro, solos included. If it's on here, it's the whole chart — never just the famous riff and a shrug.

Most have no lyrics. Just the music, notation and tablature — but you may find some personal notes here and there.

Everything is free. No account, no paywall, no ads, no analytics following you around. There's a tip jar in the footer if you're feeling generous; ignoring it is completely fine.

Artists, composers, transcribers

Every tab credits the original artist and composer. If you transcribed something you find here and want credit — happily, just tell me. And if you hold rights to something and want it gone, email takedown@thebackpocket.app and it comes down promptly. No forms, no drama.

Who's behind this

Endy — mobile app developer by day, musician the rest of the time. This site is a personal archive that grew legs, not a startup. It'll stay small, it'll stay free, and it'll keep working for years, which is exactly the point.
